Phoenix palm is a treat to the eyes. This small to medium size plant can grow up to 2 to 3 meters long. The beautiful leaves are 60 to 120 cm in length and feather-shaped where almost 100 stripes of leaflets are arranged perfectly. The dark green leaves always stay droopy to give the shape of the bouquet. The complete display of dwarf phoenix palm is quite exquisite.

The Phoenix palm is also known as Phoenix roebelenii, miniature date plant, pygmy date plant, and robellini. The mature tree produces small yellow flowers. The fruits of this plant are like dates which are edible and sweet to taste.
